Kaarle McCulloch and Anna Meares set the first world record to take the gold medal in the Womens team sprint at the 2010 Track World Championships in Ballerup.

McCulloch and Meares beat Chinas Jinjie Gong and Junhong Lin in the gold final. Lithuania took third place, beating Great Britain in the bronze final.
